I am a long time SGI member, native Japanese speaker and Japanese language teacher. American Gongyo teaches the correct and ideal recitation of SGI Gongyo. If members ask how to learn or improve their Gongyo, I urge them to use American Gongyo. While all members try to do a correct Gongyo, mistakes and errors have been passed down and thus perpetuated. A more perfect Gongyo leads to a more perfect life.
